A long-standing group of companies operating among others in the FX, Financial Services, and Accounting industries, are working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Front-End Developer to join their Larnaca based team on a hybrid model. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work hands-on on projects and at the same time make technical decision within and across teams.   • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating web applications, including single page applications as well as dynamic websites.
  • Be in charge of maintaining, along with improving those applications.
  • Work on challenging projects to build optimal, user-friendly interfaces for our business customers.
  • Be responsible for making technical decisions within a team and across teams.
  • Keen and able to learn new technologies.
  • Be willing to perform code reviews and have your code reviewed by your peers.
  • Familiar with delivery of software using Agile methodologies.
  • Willing to take part in architectural decision making.
  • Solid foundation of Frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience of modern stacks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular)
  • Good knowledge of web architecture (URIs, HTTP, Caching, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in development with a focus on JavaScript
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging.
  • Keen eye for good UX design, ability to contribute to a design discussion.
  • SPA (Single-page Application) implementation experience
  • Ability to write well formatted, structured and clean code.
  • Experience working with UNIX terminal.
  • Experience with Git and understanding of GitFlow
  • Experience with VueJS will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CSS pre-processors
  • Fluent English language skills
