A well-established international software-as-a-service and lead generation platform aimed at financial service consumer lenders, are working with GRS to recruit a Front-End Developer for their newly established Cyprus office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Refactor and optimise JavaScript codebase for the backend system.

Maintain and enhance front-end code for the company website.

Collaborate with the full-stack team to streamline and optimise workflows.

Initiate and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.

Independently execute tasks while aligning with the company's coding standards and best practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Proficiency in JavaScript and Vue.js. System currently works with Vue 2.

Strong experience with build tools, specifically Webpack and Vite. We would like to migrate from the former to the latter and have already done much of the work.

Optimisation should lead to a more modular codebase, faster compilation times, and precision loading of required modules only (lazy loading/chunking).

Recognition of repeating patterns that can be unified into reusable components.

Keen eye for code-smell and redundancies.

Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Proven track record of independently delivering tested code with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with backend systems and the ability to refactor JavaScript code accordingly.

Monitor Sentry for any front-end bugs that may impact operations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to think strategically about system improvements.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
