A long-standing professional services company with offices globally is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Fund Administrator for their Cyprus based team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations and administration of the company’s investment funds. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain fund accounting records, including trade capture, cash reconciliations, and NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Process subscription and redemption requests from fund investors, including the verification of investor eligibility and compliance with fund documentation.

Coordinate with custodians, prime brokers, and other service providers to reconcile cash and securities positions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely settlement of trades.

Prepare and review periodic financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings in accordance with fund deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the coordination of fund audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews, providing support to external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Respond to investor inquiries and requests for information, providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with fund investors.

Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to fund administration, and implement necessary updates to policies, procedures, and systems.

Contribute to the development of operational improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancements within the fund administration function.

Collaborate with other members of the operations team to ensure seamless integration of fund administration activities with other operational functions, such as compliance, risk management, and portfolio management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.

CySEC Advanced Certificate and CySEC AML Certificate would be considered an advantage.

3-5 years of experience in fund administration, preferably within an AIFM, fund administrator, or financial services firm.

Strong understanding of alternative investment strategies.

Strong understanding of the Cyprus Fund Industry.

Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, financial instruments, and investment fund structures.

Proficiency in fund administration software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile complex financial data and resolve discrepancies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in any other language will be considered an advantage.
