A Capital Management firm is looking for a Fund Operations Executive to join their new team in Malta. This is a varied role, covering back/middle office functions of the firm and providing support for compliance, risk management and marketing functions, including general administrative support. The perfect person will have recently worked in a similar role at a hedge fund and have a detailed understanding of equities, swaps, futures, options and FX products. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Trade Support: Responsibility for full trade life cycle and all post execution queries, ensuring that trades are booked correctly, reported, and matched T+0.

Ownership of the portfolio management system including liaison with third party support providers, ongoing maintenance of static data, and periodic testing of upgrades.

Risk and investment guideline monitoring.

Support for fund financial statements production and audit process.

Ad hoc reporting, including analysis for risk and due diligence purposes.

Daily P&L production, including cash and position reconciliations and analysis of key P&L drivers.

Management of NAV process, including month end reconciliation of Administrator calculated NAV and managing subscriptions and redemptions.

Cash Management and liquidity planning.

Corporate action monitoring and processing.

Book-keeping and maintenance of the investment manager’s management accounts.

Processing invoices and instructing counterparty payments.

IR support: preparation of newsletters and presentations, maintenance of CRM system.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience in a similar role at a hedge fund

Familiar with operational processes and procedures

Be highly proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)

Thorough understanding of equities, swaps, futures, options and FX products.
