GRS is on the lookout for a highly skilled and strategic leader for their Cyprus-based operations. As the General Manager you will be responsible to oversee the operations, growth, and financial performance of our Cyprus-based business. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of business development, operations, and market dynamics within the F&B, FMCG, or hospitality industries.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish the organizational structure and lead the local team to ensure operational efficiency and long-term growth.

Develop and implement a strategic plan for market expansion while ensuring the sustainability of the existing network.

Adapt corporate strategies to local market conditions to enhance competitiveness.

Participate in setting annual sales, development, and revenue targets.

Prepare and implement the annual budget in alignment with corporate goals.

Oversee financial and accounting management, ensuring full compliance with tax, customs, and insurance regulations.

Monitor financial performance, provide in-depth analysis, and develop improvement strategies.

Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency across all departments.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and health and safety standards.

Address operational challenges and drive continuous process improvements.

Lead and guide the management team, setting clear performance goals and providing regular feedback.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Implement training and mentoring programs to enhance team performance.

Contribute to the development of local marketing strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.

Build partnerships with external collaborators to enhance brand presence and corporate image in the local market.

Support business expansion and strengthen existing partnerships.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial role in Sales, Business Development, Commercial Management, or Operations within F&B, FMCG, or Hospitality industries.

At least 10 years of corporate experience in Business, Operations, or Sales.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Data Analysis, or related fields. A Master’s degree (MBA, Business Development, Marketing, Data Analysis, or Sales) is preferred.

Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in business analytics tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

Additional training and seminars will be considered an advantage.
