Our client a global business consultancy supporting business expansion and immigration support for business clients globally now has an opportunity for a Global Benefits Manager to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs both internally and for external clients. As an ideal candidate for this role, you would have a Degree in HR or Business Management or similar or equivalent experience. This role can be fully remote or hybrid if you prefer. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, paid time off, and other perks that are offered to employees as part of their compensation package in various relevant countries
  • Identify employee and client requirements, analysing trends and developments in benefits offered by other organizations/competition and submit them to senior management, propose solutions to improve these programs and execute on proposals.
  •  Identify opportunities to improve programs and processes - including administration - utilizing internal analytics and employee feedback.
  • Develop and implement Global Benefits strategies and policies that align with the organisations goals
  • Hiring of new employees
  • Lead, inspire and motivate team members, setting goals and directions, providing clear guidance.
  • Managing development needs of employees, deal with any issues with people and culture department
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in HR or Business Management or similar or equivalent experience. Certified benefits specialists such as CEBS or similar would be beneficial.
  • Up to date with European employee law including statutory benefits.
  • 5+ years’ experience of working as a general employee benefits specialist.
  • Experience in leading/managing a team, leading the implementation of employee benefits programs
  • Ability to set clear goals and expectations, monitor, and evaluate team performance, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional development.
  • Strong understanding of global benefits regulations and compliance requirements
  • Advanced IT skills (MS Office including Teams)
  • Critical thinking skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set, focusing on finding pragmatic solutions, not just identifying problems.
