GRS are working in partnership with a growing Forex Company in Limassol who are searching for a Global Head of Human Resources to join this talented team. The company is an emerging brand with operations in Cyprus and overseas. The successful candidate will be involved in sourcing, recruiting, planning the overall HR strategy and assist in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Ensure compliance and application of relevant laws throughout human resource management
  • Manage all aspects of HR including but not limited to absence, issuing employment contracts, hiring & dismissals, performance management, annual appraisals, learning & development, employee relations, providing reference etc
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Be the first person of contact and liaise with external recruiters
  • Nurture an encouraging and happy working environment
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Monitor company’s payroll and benefits
  • Manage ongoing maintenance and retention of employees
  • Arrange employee events and/or any other employee related social benefits and incentives
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
  • Sound Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Results driven with people’s orientation
  • Positive outgoing personality with negotiation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the European and Cyprus labour law and HR best practices
  • High standards of professionalism and integrity, candidates will have strong levels of drive, energy and commitment, together with patience, diplomacy and intellect
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Additional HR education and certification will be a plus
