Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this role entails overseeing the financial operations of the assigned entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and strategic financial planning and analysis to support our overall objectives. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage daily accounting tasks, including monthly reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other financial reports.

Prepare and file VAT returns, Eco Contribution returns, and other required statutory reports.

Supervise and oversee the work of junior staff members.

Prepare reports for monthly management accounts.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

Monitor credit control activities.

Assist with the annual audit process.

Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 1 year of local experience in a similar role
-
Proficiency in written and spoken English

Strong understanding of accounting principles
-
Experience in preparing management accounts

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks

Experience with Shireburn Financial Management, Opera PMS, and Simphony is a plus but not essential, as full training will be provided

Preference will be given to candidates pursuing an ACCA qualification or equivalent, but those with extensive experience will also be considered
