On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing Forex company, GRS are seeking to recruit a Group Deputy Compliance Officer to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate will ensure that all company’s operations and business transactions follow the relevant compliance and internal rules. This position will also review employees’ work and provide advice on compliance. To succeed in this role, this person shall be a reliable professional who is not afraid to speak their mind, work with the team to make accurate and informed decisions and stand by their experience.   • Be responsible that all Companies within the Group fulfills its annual obligations and license conditions
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects to implement the Company’s strategy
  • To help promote compliance culture within the Group and to carry out such ad hoc projects as may be reasonably requested by the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Develop and implement an effective compliance program within the Group
  • Developing and managing the compliance team and report any issues to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
  • Draft and revise company policies when needed
  • Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with the evaluation of business activities (e.g., investments) to assess compliance risk
  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring that the compliance function remains up to date with any compliance requirements as per the Group’s licenses
  • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
  • Address employee concerns or questions on any compliance issues
  • Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
  • Any other duties that are requested and relevant to the role.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a multi-licensed broker with CySEC, FCA and any offshore licenses is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of AML, KYC and CDD procedures and compliance regulations is a must
  • Degree in Law/Business/Finance or any other related field.
  • CySEC Advanced Legal Framework Certificate is a must
  • Holder of AML Certificate or any other related certificate will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager
  • Experience in managing staff.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, MiFID, MAR, GDPR and Data privacy)
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
