MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Leadership: Join the Group Executive Committee to drive and execute the Group’s strategy alongside peers from various departments.

Financial Vision & Direction: Shape and deliver the finance vision, working collaboratively across teams to ensure financial expertise supports all areas of the business.

Team Leadership: Oversee and develop the Operational Finance and FP&A teams, fostering a high-performance culture and cross-functional collaboration.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead the preparation of financial statements, oversee audits across multiple entities, and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.

Cash Flow & Capital Management: Optimize cash flow, manage capital requirements, and ensure regulatory capital compliance to support the Group’s financial health.

Tax Expertise: Handle UK payroll taxes, VAT, corporate taxes, and gain familiarity with tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with commercial teams to ensure financial controls and a seamless flow of information between business units and finance, aligning on strategy and reporting accuracy.

Data Analysis & Strategic Insights: Provide financial analysis on various business lines to support performance improvements and strategic decision-making.

Operational Efficiency: Drive process improvements within finance to support efficient and effective operations throughout the Group.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Technical Expertise: Strong accounting and analytical skills, including in-depth knowledge of cash flow management, reporting, and accounting principles.

Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams across jurisdictions, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, able to articulate complex financial concepts to various audiences.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reporting and adherence to deadlines.

Adaptability & Forward Thinking: Ability to apply knowledge to new scenarios, adapt to different jurisdictions, and proactively suggest improvements.

Resilience & Reliability: A trusted leader with a strong sense of accountability and stress tolerance in high-demand environments.

Professional Accreditation: Qualified Accountant with recognized credentials.

Finance Leadership Experience: 10+ years leading finance teams, preferably in Financial Services, with experience in Crypto Exchange or Hedge Fund environments a plus.

Multi-Jurisdictional Expertise: Experience in global financial management, with exposure to regulatory reporting and tax reporting in multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Belize, Cyprus, UK, UAE, among others).

IFRS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with IFRS standards and their implementation within a Group setting.

Executive Collaboration: Experience working with senior management and leading management committees to achieve strategic objectives.
