MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Manage and upgrade the existing technology projects to support business goals and strategic plans

Lead the implementation by communicating effectively with all tech leaders in order to streamline all operations and help optimize the business goals

Lead the strategic planning in communication with the Senior Management and the stakeholders, by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting reasonable timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services

Develop internal policies and strategies to ensure that the technology department runs smoothly and effectively

Provide leadership and strong strategic business acumen to support business objectives from technology and business aspect

Develop new products and maintain existing codebase with high-quality standards

Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company’s services

Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage

Help departments use technology profitably

Identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
-
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency

Build quality assurance and data protection processes

Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

Make executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements

Act as a mentor to team members

Stay on top of technology trends and developments

Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University Degree in Information Technology/ Engineering or related field
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CTO/Technology Director
-
Experience within the financial sector, FX is a must
-
Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Analytical mindset with high attention to detail

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Strong business acumen and a solid foundation in information technology, including change management and project/program management experience

Ability to apply innovative thinking in conjunction with a technical understanding of emerging technologies
