A global and long-standing investments company with offices in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Head Corporate Lawyer in Nicosia. The overall responsibility of the ideal candidate is to secure new partnerships/relationships through business development with new overseas partners, research the need for new products and develop such products to satisfy the needs of new clients. This is a front line B2B partner facing role and having a strong drive to develop and grow the business is critical.
Our client maintains fully fledged offices in Cyprus, Dubai and London and while the position is based in Nicosia periodical travelling to other business jurisdictions may be required. MAIN DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITES

Identify, develop, activate, and grow relationships with overseas law firms and financial services companies for referrals.

Take a leading role in the marketing and sales function of the firm, which will require travel abroad for business development purposes.

Responsible for implementing and conducting all aspects of the business development and sales process.

Ultimately responsible for achieving targeted sales objectives of above products according to individual and group targets.

Lead a team of lawyers, client relationship managers and administrative staff.

Attend conferences and seminars both locally and abroad whilst keeping up with industry trends

Identify and communicate any products, sales opportunities and improvements or suggestions to the Board.

Lead the product development, promotion of and rendering of asset protection related services including trusts, family investment companies, family office funds, wills with a focus on business relocation to Dubai and Cyprus.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Cyprus qualified lawyer with solid experience within the Corporate/Commercial Law sector

Minimum 5 - 7 years of managerial experience

Proven track record in business growth

Strong leadership skills

Strong networking in the field and ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Strong personality with the ability to take initiative and identify solutions

Fluency in Greek and English
