A well-established Forex company with CySEC, FINMA and FSCA regulations, are working with GRS to recruit the Head of Accounting to join their team in Larnaca. The successful candidate must have experience in accounting within the Forex industry and must ideally be ACA/ ACCA Part-Qualified.  If you are looking for the opportunity to join a reputable Forex company in order to oversee its Accounting function, we are looking forward in receiving your application for this Larnaca based Head of Accounting role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage, organize, supervise and coordinate the Accounting Department
  • Prepare management accounts and reports on monthly/quarterly /annual basis
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT forms to local tax authorities
  • Reconcile financial data for the calculation of monthly revenue and monthly net deposits
  • Plan and implement the department’s internal regulations and procedures
  • Manage and track the implementation of the annual budget
  • Prepare budgets of the Accounting engagement and assign the work to a team of accountants
  • Handle and oversee the company’s monthly payroll procedure
  • Manage the preparation of all relevant reports in order to liaise and comply with requirements set by internal and external auditors, regulatory authorities and all related governmental bodies
  • Communicate on a daily basis with local and global banking institutions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or any other relevant field
  • Preferably a Holder of ACA/ ACCA
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal in English and Greek
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving and result oriented personality
  • Strong ability to lead, coach and influence people and teams
  • Excellent managerial, planning and organising skills
