MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for the Company’s Accounting Department, supervising the day-to-day accounting operations

Review the accounting records and ensure that the journal entries in the accounting system are performed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner

Supervise the accounting personnel, review of their work and provide constructive feedback

Preparation of management accounts and any ad-hoc reporting required by the Company’s management

Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including the preparation and submission of reports to regulatory and tax authorities

Liaise with banks, PSPs, EMI and the company’s treasury function in relation to financing and other requirements in coordination with the CFO

Oversee the timely and correct recording of invoices, execution of payments to vendors, service providers and payroll

Monitor of cash flow position, recuring and critical payments and preparation of cash flow reports

Coordination and management of the audit process for the preparation of audited financial statements for group entities in accordance with IFRS and local companies law

Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls to ensure operational efficiency and reliable financial reporting
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACA or ACCA qualification
-
A University graduate in accounting, business, finance or related field
-
Experience in a CySEC regulated investment firm and previous experience in the relevant position will be considered as a strong advantage

4-6 years of relevant experience

MS Office and working knowledge of accounting software

Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language, written and oral
