GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading international organisation with compliance experience in transport/logistics/maritime-related operations to recruit a Group Compliance / Head of Compliance to be based in Limassol. This role carries responsibility for group-wide compliance, regulatory oversight, and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the full scope of group compliance activities, including KYC and ongoing due diligence, UBO/registrable controllers, anti-bribery and corruption frameworks, whistleblowing, and internal compliance training.

Ensure compliance with international sanctions regimes, including OFAC, UN, EU, UK, and G7.

Conduct sanctions screening on entities, individuals, and operational assets, including transaction- and route-related assessments.

Oversee data protection compliance, including GDPR, DPIAs, and information governance controls.

Manage NDA frameworks and confidentiality controls.

Maintain relationships with relevant international compliance bodies and certification initiatives.

Implement and maintain ISO 19600 Compliance Management Systems, including coordination of internal and external audits.

Develop and maintain a Group Compliance Roadmap and related policies.

Coordinate with Treasury on credit risk and KYC matters.

Support corporate governance initiatives and regulatory risk management.

Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory interpretation and evolving compliance requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Law or a relevant discipline.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a compliance-focused role.

Experience within a highly regulated, international operational environment.

Strong legal research and contract management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Clear understanding of how compliance supports business objectives.
