The leader in residence and citizenship planning with more than 30 offices globally, are working with GRS to recruit the Head of Compliance to join their dynamic team in Limassol.  The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in a Compliance role and must have excellent knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.  If you are looking for an opportunity to join the market leader in residence and citizenship planning and to be part of a motivating and energetic team, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this Limassol based Head of Compliance role.
  • Overseeing and managing a team of Compliance Officers who inter alia apply the company’s due diligence process
  • Conduct risk assessments and give recommendations based on the result of KYC/due diligence procedure
  • Inform senior management about results of due diligence and giving reasoned recommendations for the decision as to establish or decline business relationship, ensuring that findings and decisions are recorded properly
  • Providing compliance support to the group by ensuring compliance with internal policies and external/local regulations
  • Advise management on compliance with laws and regulations through reports
  • Draft, review, update and implement an effective compliance program, policies, procedures, guidelines, checklists and other documents designed to assure compliance with legal requirements
  • Respond to audit discoveries and compliance violations by assessing operations and procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible risks or weaknesses and reporting back to business
  • Provide training to Compliance Officers and other staff of the group companies regarding compliance policies and latest regulations and processes
  • Where required register as authorized person, Compliance Officer and/or MLRO
  • Function as Compliance Officer and the Company Secretary for the companies of the group that are based in Cyprus
  • University Degree in law, finance, business management or any other related field
  • 3-5 years proven experience in a Compliance Officer role
  • Excellent knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
  • Regulatory compliance and risk management expertise
  • Team and project management skills
  • Fluency in English both oral and written is a must
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Highly analytical with string attention to detail
  • Critical problem-solving ability
  • Attractive remuneration package is offered, based on skills and experience
  • 13th salary
