A growing Forex company based in Nicosia, with well-established international offices, are currently working with GRS to recruit a Head of Compliance/MLRO to join their rapidly expanding team.  The successful candidate must have previous experience within the Compliance Department in the FX industry and will be overseeing the overall Compliance function of the company.  If you are looking to join a growing organization, GRS are looking forward to receiving your application for this Nicosia based Head of Compliance/ MLRO role.
 
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Keeping up to date with the changing regulatory requirements and updating senior-management
  • Agree priorities and tasks with senior management regarding Compliance
  • Update and amend accordingly the Company’s Compliance policies to ensure full accordance with the Cyprus Exchange Commission guidelines
  • Constant monitoring of inbound and outbound client calls and marketing material
  • Submission of reports to the Cyprus Exchange Commission following the designated deadlines
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet compliance with all the relevant regulatory standards
  • Update Cyprus Exchange Commission’s portal with all relevant documentation
  • Prepare the Monthly AML Prevention statement and the Annual Compliance Report
  • Work closely with the external auditors to provide them with all necessary documentation
  • Provide guidance and support to all the company’s department regarding all regulatory matters
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Law or any other relevant field 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Head of Compliance/ MLRO role within the FX industry
  • Holder of the CySEC Advance & AML is a must
  • Experience in local and/or international regulatory reporting
  • Experience in local and/or international compliance reporting
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Good team player that can work with the team based abroad, optimize revenue and reduce risk
  • Good influencing skills
  • Drive, initiative and resilience
  • Able to assist the business in achieving its goals, whilst always achieving a fair outcome for customers
  • Analysis and decision-making
  • Able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of ethics and business responsibility, demonstrating ‘substance’, honesty, transparency and integrity
