MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing exposure by hedging market risk.

Monitor the market and keep up to date with all upcoming economic events and market holidays.

Manage department staff, including employee relations, performance, attendance, recruitment, and training. Responsible for employee development and retention.

Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports requested by Accountants, Internal Auditors, Regulator and the Management (Summary Report, Segregated Report, Deposit and Withdrawal Report, History Report).

Maintain and develop relationships with Liquidity providers and third parties.

Report to the Compliance Officer the trading data required, including geographical disbursement of clients, profitability on trades, losing trades, margin requirements and leverage ratio allocation.

Monitor client orders to identify any possible fraudulent / suspicious trading activity.

Prepare the trading data for the Exposure Report and liaise with the Risk Manager to ensure that exposure limits are not surpassed.

Monitor the Margin per position for client trades.

Monitoring and execution of Hedging Policy as per the internal limits.

Maintain daily reports on Open and Closed deals and derive the P&L per trading server.

Perform any other relevant duties as requested by the Company's Management where required.

Follow up and check the daily, weekly, and monthly P&L.

Track the market news and corporate events and determine the implementations on the clients’ accounts accordingly.

Prepare hedging strategy for A, and C book clients and Net volume.

Evaluating clients and assigning them based on their trading activities as either A-book, B-book, or suspicious.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

University Degree in Economics, Finance, Math's or in other related fields

At least 8 years of experience in a similar position.

CySEC Advanced certification will be considered as an advantage

Excellent command of the English

In-depth understanding of CFD trading products, EMIR REFIT and MiFIR reports, market dynamics, and risk management strategies. (ETF knowledge will be a plus)

Extensive knowledge of trading systems, Platforms and Bridge providers

Very good numerical and analytical skills

Understanding of financial instruments and financial markets’ working principles.

Problem solving and decision-making skills.

Experience in setting strategic direction, establishing goals, and driving performance within a dealing department.

Flexible to work from the Company’s headquarters abroad for an initial period of one month as an induction. You will then be required to travel to the headquarters for short trips to facilitate the department separation and establishment and once the department setup is completed, the position will be relocated back to Cyprus.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.
