As the Head of Digital, you will lead the development and execution of digital initiatives across a retail organisation. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the organisation’s digital service strategies, enhancing customer experience across online and in-store touchpoints.

Lead initiatives that promote seamless integration of digital and physical services, such as online prescription management, telehealth, and customer loyalty programs.

Oversee the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of ERP systems to streamline operations, from inventory management to financial reporting, point of sale and supply chain.

Lead the enterprise IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, improving operational efficiency, and supporting scalable growth. This includes overseeing system architecture, cybersecurity, and the integration of new technologies across the organisation.

Digital Transformation, spearhead digital transformation initiatives within the company, focusing on automating processes, improving data management, and leveraging technology to enhance both customer-facing and back-office operations.

IT and Business Integration, work closely with senior leadership and department heads to ensure IT solutions are integrated into business processes and support key operational objectives, including compliance with healthcare regulations.

Data Analytics and Insights, lead efforts to leverage data analytics for improved decision-making across the business. Utilise data to enhance digital marketing strategies, optimise the supply chain, and enhance the customer experience.

Vendor and Partner Management, manage relationships with key technology providers and third-party vendors. Ensure that the organisation is using the best available tools and services to support digital initiatives.

Budget and Resource Management, oversee the digital and IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing return on investment. Manage project timelines and deliverables within scope and budget.

Team Leadership and Development, lead, mentor, and grow the digital services and IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in digital services, with a strong background in ERP, IT architecture, and process improvement within a retail environment.

A university degree in IT or equivalent is essential.
