The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be educated in computing. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead key projects with R&D to support the business goals

Support the director of technology (CTO) to hire and develop R&D personnel.

Learn and analyse our current software stack and development organization capabilities.

Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the effectiveness of our software architecture.

Understand customer expectations on to-be developed features and products.

Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Sales, Operations and Product Departments.

Suggest the correct resource allocation and team capabilities and participate in the hiring process to improve the development team ability to execute.

Suggest training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development.

Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.

Build an agile development team and collaborate with DevOps to build a robust platform that can sustain our business with a high level of quality both from software development and the application delivery platforms we use.

Oversee complex research projects and ensure they are on time and delivered with highest quality.

Proven experience in a similar role

Experience in dealing with various developers and technical functions

Strong in data modelling, concepts, and flows

Educated in Computing
