Our client an esteemed Group of Companies established in Malta for many years is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment  to recruit a Head of Human Resources in Malta.  In this role as the Head of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s people strategy and ensuring a positive employee experience. For this role GRS are seeking an individual with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources management and proven experience in a senior HR positions. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute group HR plans aligned with the overall business objectives of each sector within the group.
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to the HR team, ensuring adherence to relevant law and best practice.
  • Transform and strengthen the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with company values.
  • Strategize the development of effective employment policies across the group.
  • Design and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with local regulations and promote a positive work culture.
  • Oversee core areas of the HR department, including Recruitment, General Administration, Employee Engagement & Retention, Training & Development, Reward and Recognition.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and automation in the internal processes by harnessing technology.
  • Develop and execute a plan for diversity, equity, and inclusion that creates a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees.
  • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs.
  • Ensure HR managers are skilled and enabled to manage workforce issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide HR insights and support strategic decision making.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and positive work environment.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
