MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies for emerging markets across all channels, including private and tender opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, understand the competitive landscape and consumer behaviour, and translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance brand positioning and market penetration.
- Manage and optimize the P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability targets are met across all channels.
- Collaborate with channel leads, brand marketing, regulatory affairs, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of go-to-market plans with overall business objectives and drive seamless execution.
- Oversee the performance of all sales channels, ensuring channel strategies are tailored to meet market demands and company goals.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and make adjustments as needed to meet financial objectives.
- Work alongside brand marketing teams to identify and pursue opportunities for brand expansion and new market entry within emerging markets, leveraging market insights and strategic partnerships.
- Lead initiatives to improve the customer experience across all touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand experience that drives customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of initiatives, regularly reporting on progress. Make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Ensure all go-to-market activities adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies, mitigating risks and maintaining brand integrity.
- Serve as a team leader and model the company values and leadership competencies, helping guide and mentor through effective coaching.
CANDIDATE PROIFLE
- 5-10 years of experience in strategy, business development, or related roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to see the big picture, anticipate market trends, and develop long-term strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Strong focus on achieving financial targets, optimizing performance, and driving growth in a competitive market.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data, financial reports, and performance metrics, translating insights into actionable plans.
- Proven leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviours, with a passion for enhancing the customer experience across all channels.
- Creative mindset with a knack for identifying new opportunities, driving innovation, and differentiating the brand in the market.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing market conditions.
