Our client a diversified Financial Services company is opening a branch in the UAE (Abu Dhabi -ADGM) and working alongside GRS to recruit a Head of Trading to join their team. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the retail brokerage business along with a successful track record building and managing the Trading team and be responsible for pricing and order execution on Margin FX, CFDs, equities and futures. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the management of the Firm’s market and counter party credit risk, working closely with the Risk officer to ensure exposure, NOP’s, margin, concentration risk and liquidity risk is consistently within the Firm’s risk profile and regulatory commitments.

Manage liquidity relationships ensuring counterparties are meeting SLA’s for pricing, liquidity and best execution.

Manage connectivity to Liquidity providers, Prime brokers and data providers ensuring minimal downtime in price streaming and trade execution.

Build trade desk processes and controls, recommend improvements and closer monitoring activities to mitigate manual execution risks.

Manage Data licences and associated vendor relationships

Maintain and improve price streams across asset classes, including internally constructed custom price feeds

Develop and implement automated trading strategies to actively manage client trades and hedge risk.

Analyze daily realized trading results, and activities and ensure transactions have been properly accounted for.

Manage account creation on the Firm’s trading platforms and ensure all activity is monitored to prevent internal or external abuse of systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
5+ years of experience in Risk or Trading roles, ideally within the margin FX and CFD sector, as well as other derivative products and cash equities

Broad and thorough working knowledge of FX, CFD, equity and future products including market movements, execution and settlement.

Excellent quantitative skills, including derivatives pricing models, flow analysis and risk analysis

Very strong understanding of connectivity and API’s between Brokers, LPs and counterparty Banks.

Experience with Transaction Reporting and Exchange Reporting

Strong decisiveness with the ability to process complicated information quickly and accurately under pressure

Experience with scripting and database languages (primarily Python and SQL)

Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, and FSRA regulations

Understanding of trade executions, risk management, liquidity, and reporting

Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
