MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health and Safety procedures across all departments of the company.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage occupational hazards in the workplace through inspections and risk assessments.
- Train staff on Health and Safety issues.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
- Collaborate with Management and company departments to strengthen a culture of prevention and safety.
- Monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Preparing and monitoring the annual H&S training plan in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
- Maintaining records and statistics, and preparing periodic Health and Safety reports.
- Participating in internal audits and inspections by competent authorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field).
- Relevant certifications and/or training in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment will be considered an additional qualification.
- Completion of the 130-hour training program for Safety Officers will be considered a significant additional qualification (Ministerial Decision 238/2021).
- Good knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
- Ability to observe and identify hazards in the workplace.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff, various partners, and management.
- Initiative and responsibility.
