Reporting to and working closely with the General Manager, the Hotel Manager oversees all aspects of hotel operations in line with company policies and procedures. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing efficiency, and maximizing the hotel’s performance while maintaining a balanced focus on guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and owners’ interests. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel in line with the organizational structure.
  • Conduct regular briefings and meetings with department heads to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Lead on key property initiatives, including capital projects, refurbishments, and guest service enhancements.
  • Manage guest feedback and oversee service recovery processes.
  • Prepare, present, and achieve the hotel’s annual operating budget, sales & marketing plan, and capital expenditure budget.
  • Drive hotel profitability while achieving and exceeding revenue, service, and guest satisfaction targets.
  • Set and deliver both short- and long-term strategic goals for the property.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Monitor business performance reports daily and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure accurate monthly financial forecasts for Rooms, F&B, Admin & General.
  • Maximize room yield and overall revenue through effective sales strategies and yield management programs.
  • Provide monthly financial reports and performance updates to owners and stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement of operating supplies and equipment, negotiating with third-party vendors when necessary.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in hospitality, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Previous experience as a Head of Department, Assistant General Manager, or Executive Assistant Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Skilled in financial management, including P&L analysis and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in MS Office, POS, and restaurant management software.
  • Up to date with hospitality trends and best practices.
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded with a focus on results.
