MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertakes search, screening, interviewing, selection and hiring of crew

Identifies crewing requirements by highlighting vacancies which may occur in liaison with the HR Crewing Managers and Hotel Managers

Communicates with the vessels, understanding the needs of others and answering queries efficiently

Determines and monitors the onboard manpower requirements in liaison with the HR Crewing Managers and Schedulers
-
Explores and evaluates alternative sources of crew supply
-
Ensures that the candidates applied through the Company’s Portal are contacted
-
Carries out onboard visits and assesses the suitability of the crew employed
-
Assesses the suitability of the crew employed through onboard visits
-
Monitors crew appraisals and performance on completion of probationary period, sign off and season end
-
Communicates and cooperates with Manning Agents and sets recruitments in motion
-
Maintains the HR System updated at all times
-
Coordinates crew complaints as per corresponding procedure in Company’s IMS
-
Communicates information to the families of crew whenever required
-
Is aware, implements and complies to Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
-
Undertakes any task or duty assigned by the management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Degree in Human Resources and/or Management
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR position
-
Excellent Computer Skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet)
-
Excellent command of the English language (both written and oral)
-
Holder of European Driving License
-
Knowledge of MLC 2006, STCW, Flag State Requirements, Rules & Regulations, Vessel Management & Maritime Business
