On behalf of our client, one of the leading Financial Advisory Service Companies in Malta GRSS is looking for an HR Executive to join their growing team. Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary company providing services as diverse as Tax, Accounting & Bookkeeping to legal and corporate services. The role will focus on creating an engaging and vibrant environment for people to thrive in, with the ability to identify and nurture key stakeholders, being a strong communicator and great at understanding people’s needs, aspirations and potential. The ideal candidate will have good experience and understanding of employment law and also have experience or an interest in employee retention, happiness at work. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
  • Direct and oversee the hiring, training, and dismissal processes
  • Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
  • Implement performance review procedures
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
  • Monitor HR department’s budget
  • Manage employees’ grievances
  • Measure employee retention and turnover rates
  • Oversee daily operations of the HR department
  • Oversee any outsourced work related to HR that the group may engaged with
  • Perform other relevant duties when needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Strong HR and recruitment experience.
  • Solid and up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to undertake HR practices and procedures independently
  • Strong relationship builder to work with a variety of levels and teams within the business
  • Strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Confidence in leading and working with others on a project
  • Excellent communicator
  • Excellent organizational and prioritisation skills
  • Creative thinker of new approaches
  • Great attention to detail
