Our client  a multidisciplinary firm providing corporate, trusteeship and fiduciary services to clients around the world are working alongside GRS to recruit a HR Manager in Malta. In this role you will focus on the companies’ expansion in resources while reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and will be supported by junior members within the HR team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sourcing candidates from various sources, reviewing CVs, selection, setting of interviews and managing job recruitment
  • Developing, promoting and enforcing HR policies and procedures
  • Developing and overseeing employee benefits and wellness programmes
  • Handling payroll for internal purposes
  • Preparing tailor-made recruitment testing for candidates' interviews
  • Maintaining and updating job descriptions
  • Overseeing the onboarding and termination processes of employees
  • Preparing an HR newsletter on a monthly basis in conjunction with the Operations department
  • Keeping up to date with the changes in employment laws in Malta and for overseas employees
  • Assisting managers with the preparation and follow-up of performance reviews
  • Promoting employee career development and job training
  • Providing induction training for new recruits
  • Serving as a primary contact for employee staff for grievances
  • Ensuring that departmental standard operating procedures are followed and maintained
  • Any other ancillary duties which the Manager may be asked to perform.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience within an HR role preferably in a corporate environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Must have the ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with employees.
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
