On behalf of our client, a start-up company based in Limassol, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager. This company offers a B2B service and are a platform aggregator within the iGaming industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This role is essential for fostering a positive and productive work environment as the company grows. The HR Manager will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Additionally, the ideal candidate will leverage their strong network within Cyprus to support this start-up’s recruitment efforts and develop strategic HR initiatives.
  • Talent acquisition and recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies, leveraging your network to attract top talent within Cyprus and internationally. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to interviews and onboarding.
  • Employee relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, address employee concerns, and mediate conflicts to maintain high employee satisfaction and morale.
  • Performance management: Implement and oversee performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering employee growth.
  • Training and development: Identify training needs and organize programs to support employee development and enhance skills within the team.
  • Compliance and labor law adherence: Ensure that all HR practices comply with Cypriot labor laws and regulations, including employment contracts, payroll, and workplace safety.
  • HR policy development: Design and implement HR policies and procedures to support company growth, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Employee onboarding and retention: Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Focus on retention strategies to reduce turnover.
  • Compensation and benefits management: Oversee salary structures, benefits programs, and incentives to remain competitive in the market while aligning with the company's budget.
  • Internal communications and culture-building: Promote a transparent and collaborative work environment by managing internal communications and supporting initiatives to strengthen company culture.
  • Networking and industry presence: Utilize your strong network in Cyprus to enhance recruitment efforts, attend relevant industry events, and promote the company’s brand as an employer of choice.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Professional experience: Minimum 4 years of HR management experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and employee relations. Experience in the iGaming or technology sectors is an advantage.
  • Networking: Strong connections and networking capabilities in Cyprus, with the ability to leverage these for recruitment and HR initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cypriot labor laws: Comprehensive understanding of local labor regulations, compliance standards, and employment practices.
  • Recruitment skills: Proven track record of sourcing and recruiting top talent, with experience in both local and international markets.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in managing HR teams and initiatives.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to handle complex employee relations issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple HR functions simultaneously.
