MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a key player helping to ensure that all information assets are adequately protected and that risks faced are continually updated and mitigated.

Leading the coordination and execution of the relevant activities

Responsibility for maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the organization

Coordinating activities with a brief to review, recommend and communicate best practices in relation to Information Security
-
Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry and regularly brief the executive team on status and risks.

Lead communication on best practices and risks to all parts of the business.

Lead compliance to applicable regulations and standards, ensuring that all policies and procedures are regularly reviewed

Engage with technical specialists and produce reports for improvements and corrective actions

Support execution of background and security checks for activities to be outsourced to 3rd party suppliers/partners.

Review investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Knowledge and experience of information security management standards and industry practices
-
Developed communications skills, capable of building productive relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
-
Have the initiative and flexibility to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, complex sector
-
Degree in Information Technology-related field or 3 years’ experience in Information Security related duties
