They are currently seeking to recruit an In-House Lawyer for their newly established team in Limassol. As an In-House Lawyer, you will be part of a team focused on ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards and requirements.   • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ensuring that terms are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist in the handling of disputes and legal issues, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed about new laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting the company or clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
  • Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, and suggest amendments if needed.
  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, and employment law.
  • Work closely with various departments, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure cohesive compliance and legal strategies.
  • Perform any other related duties, as may be required by the Management and/or the direct Supervisor.
  • Bachelor Degree in Law. A Master's Degree will be considered as an advantage.
  • Lawyer qualification from the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • Excellent knowledge with practicing law, with significant experience in compliance within the FinTech Industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
