A well-established and renowned Law Firm is looking for an Investment Services Lawyer to give advice to their Senior Lawyers in Malta. The requirement is for a legal candidate who is well-versed in Investments and Funds, particularly the structuring of such. The successful candidate will have a degree in Law and a solid background in the Investment Services realm. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise and assist senior lawyers in advising on a wide range of funds and investment services related work

Structure and licensing of funds

Assist in regulatory matters

Draft and review of legal documents relating to funds and investment services licence holders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

A law degree
-
At least one year’s previous experience working in corporate law, investment funds, investment services or a similar area of practice

Knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations in the sector

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must be organized
-
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work on his own initiative
