GRS is working closely with a very well-established Telecommunications company who are looking to recruit an IP Network Planning Trainee to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate does not need to have previous working experience! MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for the design, deployment and support of Fixed Residential and Corporate Services.
  • Participate in network projects (FTTH, ISP Backbone expansions, IPv6 and many more) using the latest cutting-edge technologies that will boost its career path
  • Design deploy and support of any related Layer 2 and Layer 3 Network in company’s fixed Infrastructure. This includes the ISP Backbone Network, the xDSL and FTTH Networks.
  • Internal and External Customer Support for the related Fixed Services
  • Document network configurations and corporate solutions, maintaining an updated library with the configurations of the network.
  • Be a part of an on-call support scheme for critical incidents
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Postgraduate degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, preferably with a specialization in Telecommunications or Networks
  • Networking trainings or Certifications (CCNA,JNCIA) is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Linux is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Python, Ansible, Databases is a plus
