GRS are working with one of the islands globally renowned Financial Services organisation companies who are seeking to recruit an IT Auditor for their Malta based offices. The successful candidate will be conducting IT audit activities, including broad IT general control reviews, IT application controls audits, and data analytics assignments in support of financial audits as well as internal audit engagements, and will be dealing with key clients in the iGaming, insurance and financial services industries. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand the IT environment of our clients
-
Assess the associated risks and evaluate the control effectiveness
-
Identify weaknesses in the IT control framework
-
Report on findings and put forward recommendations

Timely collate audit file and reports, including communication of findings to senior management

Perform IT audit action items follow-ups on previously raised findings
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Hold a tertiary degree in IT, Business and Computing or Accountancy. Candidates holding CISA certification or are planning to obtain CISA certification will be given preference.

An assertive character, an ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients as well as a strong willingness to learn.

A methodological approach to work and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges are essential ingredients to the success of this role.

Are pro-active, a team player, have an eye for detail and are self-motivated. You thrive working in a deadline-driven environment.

Possess excellent English spoken and report writing skills.

Have a good working knowledge of SQL, Excel and CAATs.
