GRS are working with one of the islands globally renowned Financial Services organization who are currently seeking to recruit an IT Auditor for their Malta-based office. This position provides an excellent personal development opportunity. The successful candidate will be conducting IT audit activities, including general IT control reviews, IT application controls audits, and data analytics assignments in support of financial audits as well as internal audits engagements. You will be dealing with key clients in a range of different industries such as the iGaming, insurance, and financial services industries. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand the IT environment of our clients

Assess the associated risks and evaluate the control effectiveness

Identify weaknesses in the IT control framework

Report on findings and put forward recommendations

Timely collate audit files and reports, including communication of findings to senior management

Perform IT audit action items follow-ups on previously raised findings
CANDIDATE PROFILE

You also possess excellent English spoken and report writing skills.

You have a good working knowledge of SQL, Excel an CAATs.

You hold a tertiary degree in IT, Business and Computing, or Accountancy.

Candidates holding CISA certification or are planning to obtain CISA certification will be given preference.

You have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail.
