Our client who provide assistance and advise to Gaming companies is searching for an IT Compliance Auditor to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for reviewing compliance audits and ensure that licensees are compliant with the applicable laws, regulations and directives. The ideal candidate will be in possession of a Degree in Computer science/ Management Information Systems and, ideally, experience in information systems and financial auditing. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review compliance audit reports conducted on all type of licensees and affiliated entities submitted by third party service providers

Ensure that operators submit relevant documentation, compliant with the applicable laws and operate in accordance with the Authority’s directives and policies. In fulfilling tasks, the auditor is expected to:

Review and monitor compliance of licensees’ systems and submit recommendations

Ensure completion of audit assignments, and provide independent, objective assurance
-
Ensure final reports are issued with all recommendations
-
Oversee and provide quality control on Prudential Compliance audits
-
Take the lead in conducting:
-
Ensure non-compliances observed are reported, escalated and adhered to by the licensees within a reasonable timeframe as agreed by the Authority
-
Review reports submitted by licensees in the case of breaches of the company’s information security that adversely affects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information relating to players
-
Formulate and assist in the development of and/or maintaining processes and policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time

Liaise with other Departments on prudential compliance matters, as necessary
-
Participate in meetings and/or calls with gaming operators or general queries
-
Carry out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
In possession of a Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems (MQF Level 6).

Possession of experience or qualifications in business, finance or accounting will be considered an asset
-
Possession of or willingness to pursue recognised certification to undertake IT audits (such as CISA or equivalent)

Experience in information systems and financial auditing will be considered as an asset

Interested in IT industry developments and changes

Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment

Ability to identify high risk areas, organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
