A leading Telecommunications company is searching for an IT Operations Manager to join their technical team in Malta. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a resilient, secure, modern, and sustainable IT environment

Ensure applications meet business needs, and procure new platforms as required

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the various tools and applications in use by the business

Assist the Head of Department in IT strategy, budget, forecasting, and capacity planning
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar lead/manager role, ideally in a tech company
-
Virtualisation, networking, and storage experience
-
DevOps, Cloud implementations, and automation skills
-
Experience in running multiple projects in parallel
-
People management skills
-
Possess a degree in ICT, Engineering, or a related field
-
Be well organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize work in relation to the organization’s objectives.

Kubernetes, GCP experience (not essential)
-
ISO27001 experience (not essential)
