On behalf of our client an Information Technology Solutions company based in Limassol, GRS are seeking to recruit an IT Researcher/ Assistant PM. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of proven experience in a Researcher role with experience in EC Funded (H2020 / FP7 / etc) or domestic research projects. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribution to the implementation of Research & Innovation projects, focusing on In-Depth Requirements Analysis, Specifications Definition, Design and Evaluation of Innovative Technological and Business Solutions
  • Involvement in IT Project Management in the scope of Research and Innovation Projects with a clear focus on the utilization of the company’s know how and technologies for the development and deployment of state-of-the-art solutions and applications for a variety of industry actors and stakeholders
  • Involvement in IT Technical Management for development monitoring and testing, as well as on-time delivery of state-of-the art platforms and components
  • Support to the management of multiple concurrent projects
  • Contributing to completion of projects’ activities in a timely manner, creation of project schedules, and identification of areas of risk and contingency plans
  • Collaboration with international teams and consortia to jointly plan project activities or resolve implementation issues
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or any other relevant field
  • Software engineering or Informatics background, with in-depth understanding of state-of-the art ICT technologies and practices is required
  • At least 2 years of track record as a Researcher with proven experience in EC Funded (H2020 / FP7 / etc) or domestic research projects
  • Native Greek and Excellent use of English in verbal and written form
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with other domain experts and to transfer knowledge
  • Excellent written and presentation skills in support of technical documentation development and presentation
  • Strong technical understanding with a positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude, with an open mindset to understand and consolidate other experts’ perspectives
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office and Project Management tools
  • Be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
