On behalf of our client, a group of companies specializing in the Maritime and Shipping Services, GRS are looking for an IT Support (Tier 2) to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deal with technical issues escalated by the Tier 1 Support Agents through their hands-on experience in the IT field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist and resolve daily “Tier 2” technical issues or taking escalated customer issues from “Tier 1” IT Support Officers

Testing of company’s Value-Added Services
-
Setup and preparation of developed value-added services and other equipment for deployment to vessels
-
Maintain, monitor and improve developed value-added services and other solutions
-
Maintain up to date documentation of networks, systems and new solutions
-
Back-up other colleagues within the same department in case of absence and ensure smooth flow of operations
-
Respond to customer and suppliers’ general inquiries as necessary and coordinate with the Customer Support Manager.

Facilitate the Quality Manager for the most efficient implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 system and the Health & Safety procedures of the Group of Companies.

Responsible for the identification of the function’s risks and opportunities and the proposal of actions for their addressment.
CANDITATE PROFILE

Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology

Fluency in English both verbal and written

Experienced with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, Firewall configuration, Office 365

Self-efficacy and self-motivation

Excellent telephone manner

Numerate

Good organizational skills

Reliable and conscientious
