MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure proper maintenance of computers peripherals, printer, internet & e-mail, security, data backup and recovery

Installation, monitoring and maintenance of IT systems, networks, applications and servers, perform enhancements and upgrades

Train and guide new users on using software, PC maintenance and troubleshoot

Ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware and electronic equipment of the company

Responding in a timely manner to service/network issues and requests

Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software and services)

Participates in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedure

Administering systems security by configuring, monitoring, and maintaining virus protection software

Track vulnerabilities and patching status of all operating systems, applications, and systems

Monitoring server software and hardware
-
Maintenance of regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and failover procedures
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Educated to degree level or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
-
Proven experience within a similar role is a must
-
Experience with IT systems, networks, system security
-
Good verbal and communication skills
-
Good written and verbal English
