On behalf of our client, a company that specializes in supplying and installing electrical apparatuses and offers services of a wide range of Computer Support Equipment, networking systems and products, GRS are looking for an IT Technician to join their Limassol based team. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of previous working experience in a similar role and a solid Electrical or electronics knowledge. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as first point IT contact for the team members and the business

Resolve requests and incidents dealing with UPS units, desktop PCs, laptops, printers, networks, smartphones, both hardware and software
-
Maintain inventory of customer reports and maintenance service reports
-
Handle workload such as installing batteries, UPS systems. Physical Demands: while performing the duties of this job you will be required to stand use hands and fingers. You will be expected to lift and/or move heavy workloads

Act as a trouble shooter with faulty UPS units/ motherboards/ digital displays

Any ad-hoc task that may be required
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Holder of university degree in Electrical Engineering/ Information Systems, or in any other relevant field
-
3+ years of previous working experience and knowledge of electrical or electronics

Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Problem solving skills

Ability to work under pressure
-
Ability to use your own initiative, prioritize and work independently

Strong communication skills
-
Holder of driving license
