Our client, a well-established professional services firm in Cyprus, is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst & Automation Specialist to join its Technology team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will support departments across the business with data analysis, reporting, dashboard development and process automation. This role offers an opportunity for a Data Science, Computer Science or related graduate to apply their technical knowledge to practical business challenges, develop internal tools and contribute to improving operational efficiency through technology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyse data and prepare reports, dashboards and insights to support business operations and decision-making.

Support departments across the business with their data and technical requirements.

Assist in developing scripts, small programmes and automated processes to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.

Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, reporting solutions and internal tools.

Work with colleagues from different departments to understand their needs and deliver practical technical solutions.

Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and more efficient data management.

Help ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of data across internal systems.

Assist with troubleshooting data-related issues and improving existing reporting processes.

Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to support the effective use of data and technology across the business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL.

Familiarity with data analysis, reporting and visualisation tools, ideally Microsoft Power BI.

Understanding of databases, data structures and data management principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

An interest in programming, automation and using technology to improve business processes.

Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.

Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.

Previous experience with data preparation, ETL processes, data pipelines or workflow automation would be an advantage.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€19,500 - €26,000 Gross Per Annum
