GRS are working with a well-established financial services firm who is seeking to hire a Junior Dealer to join its dealing desk in Nicosia. The role involves executing FX transactions, managing market exposure and supporting trading decisions in a fast-paced environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Execute spot, forward, and swap FX transactions
- Monitor FX markets and identify risks and opportunities
- Quote prices to clients and provide market insights
- Manage trading positions within approved risk limits
- Liaise with liquidity providers and counterparties
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
- 1–3 years’ experience in FX trading
- Strong knowledge of FX instruments and trading platforms (e.g. MT4/MT5, Bloomberg, Reuters)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- CySEC Advanced Certificate or similar qualification is an advantage
