An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Finance Administrator to join our Malta based client, supporting a broad range of internal accounting and billing functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role also works closely with designated practice departments, providing financial and administrative support as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative support to the internal Finance & Billing Department
  • Accurately and efficiently perform accounting tasks
  • General accounts receivable and payable functions
  • Post invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Follow up with aged debtors to ensure timely collections
  • Handle billing-related responsibilities for colleagues and clients
  • Collaborate closely with assigned practice departments with financial and administrative support
  • Assist with reporting and other support functions
  • Filing and general administrative tasks
  • Liaise regularly with departments, clients & suppliers
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the Firm from time to time
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 2 years working within a bookkeeping or Accounting role
  • Familiarity with Accounts payables/receivables and basic accounts
  • Ideally with an A'Level or Diploma in Accounts
  • Role would best suit someone who is highly responsible and reliable
  • High proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, and familiarity with Xero would be considered a plus
  • A positive demeanor with a proactive approach and eagerness to develop further
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
