On behalf of our client, one of Cyprus' established organisations in the construction and real estate development sector, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Junior Interior Designer in Limassol. This role is an entry level position and ideal for graduates. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide customers through the selection of materials and finishes, including:
- Tiles
- Sanitary ware
- Light fittings
- Parquet flooring
- Other materials and upgrade options
- Arrange and attend meetings with approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with kitchen, wardrobe and carpentry suppliers to finalise designs and specifications.
- Prepare basic interior design proposals, including:
- False ceilings
- Drywall partitions
- Minor layout modifications
- Bespoke carpentry solutions
- Liaise with architects, engineers, site managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of customer selections.
- Prepare quotations and cost estimates for additional works and variations.
- Manage customer approvals and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor the implementation of approved variations during construction.
- Prepare invoices for additional works.
- Maintain a complete record of each customer's selections and variations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good knowledge of residential interior design and finishing materials.
- Ability to prepare basic interior layout and design proposals.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Very good command of both Greek and English.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software will be considered an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driving licence.
- Previous experience in real estate, construction or interior design is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of the Russian language is an advantage.
- Experience working with high-end or demanding clients is desired.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €18,000 - €19,500 Gross Per Annum.
