GRS Recruitment are working along with a leading financial services consultancy firm to recruit a Junior Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be part of an internal team which conducts internal audit assurance and consulting engagement, for an assigned group of clients. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicating with clients / financial department on conducting the audit,
-
It is expected to stay updated, in the following areas: International Standards on Internal Audit, MiFID and MiFIR Regulatory Framework, Capital Adequacy Regulation, Anti-money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulation

Reporting to designated manager/director. Reporting needs to comply with the Audit Guidelines and culture of the Company

Update daily and weekly on the status of the work assigned and to other subordinates for whom may be responsible
-
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
-
Complete multiple client engagements; internal audit and consulting engagements in the financial services industry; and manage to meet budgets and deadlines
-
Work with other departments on specific assignments, secondments or Special projects
-
Maintain good relations - deploy strong communication skills with subordinates, business associates and authorities during execution of duties

Able to attend client meetings with the manager and be able to follow agenda prepared by manager to fulfil client needs
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any other related field from a reputable university
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in the financial services industry
-
Excellent use, both verbal and written, of Greek and English languages
-
Strong personality with the ability to take initiative and identify solutions
-
Ability to work well under pressure and to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
