GRS Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected financial services organisation in Nicosia who are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Lending Officer who is eager to build a successful career within the banking and lending sector. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a Junior Lending Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Retail Lending team by:
  • Assisting with the processing and administration of retail loan applications and credit facilities.
  • Building strong relationships with customers by communicating via telephone and email to obtain documentation and provide updates throughout the lending journey.
  • Preparing customer files, credit documentation, and supporting information for loan assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring all lending documentation is complete, compliant, and up to date.
  • Monitoring the loan portfolio, repayments, and customer accounts, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service by responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the company's invoice discounting platform.
  • Preparing reports and providing administrative support to the Retail Lending Department.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously developing your knowledge of lending, credit assessment, and financial services through ongoing training.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop within the financial services industry.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €14,300 - €18,200 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
