GRS Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation seeking a Junior Management Accountant to join their growing team in Limassol. As a Junior Management Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the finance team with the monthly reporting cycle, financial analysis, and group accounting processes. You will gain exposure to group-level financial operations, working closely with experienced finance leaders while developing your technical accounting and analytical skills.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and support the Group month-end process to ensure accurate books and records
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal preparation and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Ensure the timely closure of financial records each month
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary
  • Support analytical reviews, transaction analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue/cost analysis
  • Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax reporting obligations
  • Contribute to internal finance projects, including planning, coordination, and implementation
  • Support the annual audit process across group entities
  • Help maintain and improve group accounting policies and procedures
  • Stay up to date with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Department and Group Financial Controller when required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Currently studying towards ACCA or ACA qualification (considered an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of IFRS principles
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Ability to meet tight monthly reporting deadlines
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Russian would be considered an advantage
