DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring Trading Systems: Monitoring and maintaining the company's trading systems, platforms, and liquidity feeds to ensure smooth operation.

Risk Management Assistance: Monitoring market risk exposure, client activity, and open positions, and assisting in executing hedge trades according to established guidelines.

Trade Execution Support: Assisting senior dealers in executing trades efficiently and accurately across various asset classes (forex, indices, commodities, CFDs).

Market Monitoring: Keeping abreast of financial news, economic releases, and market-moving events to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.

Reporting and Documentation: Preparing end-of-day reconciliations, operational reports, and internal documentation for senior management and other departments.

Inter-departmental Liaison: Collaborating with other teams (such as tech, sales, and customer support) to ensure all systems are fully functional and to resolve any trading-related client inquiries or issues.

System Optimisation: Identifying and proposing improvements to processes, potentially using tools like SQL or Python, to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

A BSc or MSc in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline is often preferred.

A strong interest in financial markets, derivatives, and trading operations.

High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

Technologically adept, with potential familiarity with trading platforms like MT4/MT5 or cTrader.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, as dealing operations often run 24/5 to cover global market hours.
