GRS are seeking for a Knowledge Graph Software Engineer to join a growing office based in Limassol, to help build a large-scale knowledge graph system to power a variety of innovative applications. Our client offers a fantastic working environment with a strong presence in Cyprus. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of the knowledge graph construction framework and data platform. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conceive, design and implement solutions that address complex business and technology needs for knowledge graph. The problems range from knowledge graph construction, data management and applications

Work closely with the technical team to construct knowledge graph concepts

Implement cutting-edge algorithms for inferring likely connections in the knowledge graph for downstream validation

Design and implement a framework for evaluating the quality and downstream impact of different algorithms for inferring new relationships in the knowledge graph

Devise systems for leveraging knowledge graph information within machine learning problems

Build prototypes of the benefits of the new technologies

Contribute to the patent portfolio

Provide hands-on technical an thought leadership across development, product management, operations, and engineering management through effective communication

Actively develop mentoring relationships within or across teams to help others further their careers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science/AI focused on knowledge representation, or similar practical experience

Experience using a programming language such as Python, including fundamental software engineering principles and NLP/machine learning design patterns

Experience with at least one Deep Learning framework such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
-
Experience in working with numerous knowledge graphs, like Neo4j, Grakn as well as custom KG development

Hands on experiences in building and optimizing Big Data pipelines and architectures

Strong data analytic skills, experiences in ontology modelling and natural language processing are big pluses

Self-motivated, passionate for technology, and a strong driver for results and continual improvement

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team to both teach and learn every day

Strong technical foundation and strong communication on ideas, reasoning, benefits, costs, and risks

Excellent client facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and spoken English
